At the heart of the functioning of the adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart Cooling™” is an adiabatic process – a process in which a substance changes its state (moisture evaporates), and the result is a decrease in temperature. This effect is used to cool the air entering the air conditioning and cooling unit. Accordingly, the lower the temperature of the air entering the unit, the less power it requires to cool to a predetermined temperature.

The adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart Cooling™” is installed before the condenser of the air conditioning and cooling unit. The temperature of air passing through the panel is reduced because warm air is cooled by water mist created before air conditioning and cooling facilities.

Temperature of the air passing through the adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart Cooling™” reduces substantially (by 10 – 20°C). And such lowering of temperature cause meaningful cooling capacity increase.

Using the adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart Cooling™” the temperature of the air entering the air conditioning and cooling unit can be reduced even till 20°C. It means that at a temperature like this the unit must expend much less power for cooling. See the example below.

To cool the air entering the air conditioning and cooling unit, the processed water mist is created. After contact of the mist with hot air, evaporation occurs and as a result, temperature decreases.

Adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart cooling™” does not directly affect the technical processes of air conditioning and cooling unit. It only provides a temperature reduction of the air entering the unit. This allows you to return the work of air conditioning and cooling unit from high speed into normal mode and provide the required cooling capacity.

The use of the adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart Cooling™” provides, in addition to the above, a number of additional benefits that improve the cooling effect and ensure optimum use of air conditioning and cooling unit:

  • Membranes
    In our panel the special membranes are used that reflect the sun rays, protecting the coil and condenser of air conditioner. As a result, an additional increase in temperature of the air entering the air conditioning and cooling unit is avoided.
  • Micro nozzle panel
    For producing water mist a special system Smart release technology is used that allows you to spray water droplets into very small particles. This provides substantial savings in water consumption.
  • No risk of calcium deposition
    The water which is sprayed as mist to reduce the temperature of the air entering the air conditioning and cooling unit is processed with special biochemistry (as pills). The biochemistry added into water is an essential element that changes the molecule of plaque. Due to this, the plaque and corrosion are not formed on surfaces of air conditioning and cooling unit (when using the adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy“Smart cooling™” only negligible amounts of water hits the surface of the unit). Using biochemistry ensures that the product is 100% environmentally friendly.
  • The risk of condenser overheating is eliminated

  • Minimum maintenance
    Easy and economical maintenance. The only action you should do is the monthly replacement of biochemistry (pills) that takes up to 5 minutes. It can be done both by a service company or a trained staff member.
  • No Legionella risk
    There is no risk of the presence of Legionella, because the adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel Blue Energy “Smart Cooling ™” is equipped with UV lamps, which prevent bacteria entering the water (including Legionella).

Blue Energy Adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel “Smart Cooling” are made up of several components, which help to ensure 20 – 30% more efficient operation of cooling equipment.

1. BY 70 SS – water-spraying system
BE_sprauslu-paneli-3001Micro nozzle panel BY 70 SS is made from the top quality alloy of stainless steel and aluminium. The stainless steel micro nozzle line is deposited in a high resistance anodized aluminium casing, which ensures the longevity and endurance of the component. BY 70 panel casing has been developed to facilitate easy, fast and handy installation and maintenance. Micro nozzle panel BY 70 SS is fixed by special fasteners, which ensures safe and fast attachment of component to the casing of cooling equipment. The unique design ensures that the structure is functional and can be easily installed on any cooling equipment and condenser.
Operation
Micro nozzle panel BY 70 SS facilitates spraying of micro-drops (5-20 microns), BY 70 forms a mist wall in front of the condenser of cooling equipment. When the hot air comes into contact with this mist wall, the water mist evaporates and the temperature decreases – this is caused by the transition of a substance from one state of aggregation to another – the water evaporates (an adiabatic process).  2. BY 70 M – panels with reflective membrane

Membrane BY 70 M is made from a polyurethane alloy cell that is deposited in an anodized aluminium casing. The top quality materials ensure the longevity and endurance of component. Due to the unique membrane cell, the installation of the membrane on the condenser – fans of cooling equipment does not cause resistance, which is an essential factor in efficiency. Membrane BY 70 M can be easily installed on any cooling equipment and condenser.
Operation
1. Membrane BY 70 M provides the condenser with shading and protects it from direct sunlight.
2. Additionally, the membrane ensures the cleanliness of the condenser and prevents the direct contact with water mist on the exterior condenser.

3. BBY 70 UV pumping station

The high-pressure station BY 70 UV provides 70-140 bar pressure within the adiabatic panel system. It includes a top quality specially developed high-pressure pump, valves, electronics for the automated operation of system, and a block of UV lamps, which radiates (sterilizes) the water for usage. In order to purify the water from bacteria, including Legionella, a UV block is located in the water preparation station where the radiation – antibacterial sterilization with UV rays – of water is carried out. The water flow is provided for this UV ray block.
Operation
The high-pressure station ensures that water is delivered to the micro nozzle panel. In order to ensure spraying of micro drops and the formation of a mist wall, water supply with high pressure (70-140 bars) is required, which is the primary task of the high-pressure station. According to the size of condenser (the size of panels and the number of nozzles), each installation is produced with suitable capacity pumps to provide
the required pressure and amount of mist in front of the condenser. Installation performance IP 66. The installation is intended for usage under outdoor conditions.

4. XO 100 BIO water treatment system

BIO container facilitates environment friendly transformation of the structure of lime molecules.
Operation
There are BIO tablets for water treatment in the BIO container. The BIO block is intended for changing the lime molecular structure in water. When the water comes into contact with BIO tablets, the lime molecular structure is modified. As a result of which, the treated liquid does not form lime sediments on the surfaces
of cooling equipment.

5. BY 30 control Panel, which provides automatic startup of the system at a certain temperature

The control panel is made from top quality PE components. It meets IP66 protection category requirements. The control panel regulates the operational processes of the whole system – the Adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel “Smart Cooling” – among them initiates its starting and switching off. It can be
connected to the HVAC BMS management system.
Operation
The control panel activates the operation of the Adiabatic Panel, after receiving a signal from sensor of the outdoor air temperature. This means that the system is fully automated. When the air temperature reaches over 22℃, the equipment switches on but, when the temperature falls, it switches off by itself.

6. BY – F fittings

The connective elements and fastenings of the Adiabatic, evaporative cooling panel “Smart Cooling” are made from high quality alloys, stainless steel, aluminium and metal. These materials ensure the quality and longevity of connections.
